Oliver Ottow

Oliver Ottow is a Client Engagement Leader at the IBM Innovation Studio and Think Lab Europe, located at IBM Research Europe - Zurich (Switzerland).

He is a passionate Innovation- and Transformation Leader with a deep knowledge in Research & Innovation, Change Management, People & Culture, and Consulting. In his current role, Oliver interacts with business executives from various industries and companies around the world. As a Research ambassador, he discusses technologies and use cases for the latest innovation trends, such as in Quantum Computing, Semiconductors, AI and Algorithms. In addition, he is involved as an advisor for the Digital Ethics Circle of Swico.

Oliver holds a degree in industrial engineering from the Technical University Berlin and has more than 20 years experience in global and regional leadership roles. Prior to his current role, he worked as an Innovation Leader, HR Director, Senior Consultant, Head of Talent Acquisition, and Project Manager leading global teams of up to 250 experts. Besides working for PwC, PwC Consulting and Kongsberg Automotive, Oliver has spent most of his career in various divisions of IBM. He teaches at universities & business schools and gives keynote talks to external audiences. On top of his regular work, he is engaged in social projects and has spent some time with NGOs in India and Nepal.
