A new limit to the electric dipole moment of the muon

By storing polarized positive muons in a magnetic field for as many as 1200 revolutions, a new upper limit to the electric dipole moment has been determined. The value is {Mathematical expression}, consistent with time-reversal invariance. © 1961 Società Italiana di Fisica.
