Critical current measurements in single crystals and single-grain boundaries in YBa₂Cu₃O₇ films

The temperature, magnetic field, and orientation dependence of the critical current density of superconducting YBa2Cu3O7 films have been determined from transport measurements. The results support a model of flux creep within single grains and weak-link coupling across grain boundaries.
