Dynamics of Feedback-Controlled Nd:YAG Laser and Its Application for Digital Scan Laser

The dynamics of a feedback-controlled Nd: YAG laser are examined. By introducing feedback-loss control in a Nd scan laser, the undesirable transient behavior of the Q-switching operation is avoided, increasing the switching speed of the scan laser up to the megahertz range.
