Effective fields in cubic lattices with extended charges. II

The results obtained by Guertin and Stern for the effective electric fields acting on rigid charge distributions in cubic crystals are extended to arbitrary wavelength. The results include two terms in addition to the one given by Cochran. Some numerical results for the rocksalt lattice are given. © 1966 The American Physical Society.
