Level crossing of molecular sidebands

A simple new technique in precision non-linear spectroscopy is described which involves level crossing of modulation-induced molecular sidebands. The utility of this method is demonstrated by measuring a small permanent dipole moment in the ν3 vibrational state of CH4. © 1971.
