Applied Superconductivity
The hydrostatic pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature Tc, the critical magnetic field Hc2, and the normal-state conductivity of crystalline (SN)x are reported. Under pressure Tc increases from 0.33°K (P=0) to 0.54°K (P=9±1 kbar). The increase in Tc is attributed to pressure-induced band-structure changes. © 1975 The American Physical Society.
