Specific heat of EuS

Specific heat measurements of EuS between 10°K and 35°K show a sharp peak at 16.2°K. The measurements are analyzed using the constant coupling approximation, and it is shown that the dominant exchange interaction is between nearest neighbor Eu++ ions. © 1963.
