SQUIDs made from high temperature superconductors
Abstract
Superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) are the most sensitive detectors of magnetic fields available. This paper reviews the structure and fabrication of both low and high Tc SQUIDS, and discusses early applications of high Tc devices as well as challenges facing this new thin film technology.
