Bio

Dr. Francesco Tacchino joined the Quantum Computational Science group at IBM Research – Zurich in 2020. His research focuses on quantum algorithms, quantum simulations and quantum machine learning.

Francesco received his PhD in 2020 from the University of Pavia, Italy. He holds a M. Sc. in Theoretical Physics (2016) and a B. Sc. in Physics (2014), both at the University of Pavia, and a Second Level Diploma (2017), class of Science and Technologies, from the Institute for Advanced Study (IUSS), Pavia.
