Ibrahim Shehzad works in the quantum algorithm engineering team at IBM. His work involves with tailoring quantum computations to derive the best performance from existing quantum computers, aiming to push past what is possible using classical computers. In addition, he does quantum enablement work by building tutorials and delivering workshops and talks at various conferences. Before joining IBM, Ibrahim worked as a postdoctoral fellow in observational cosmology before which he did his PhD in Physics, under the supervision of Professor Eanna E. Flanagan at Cornell University.
