Bio

Sandro Agostini earned a Master degree in Physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH) in May 2023.

During his undergraduate time, he focused on Quantum Optics and Electro Optics which led him to pursue his Master thesis at the ETH Spin-Off Polariton Technologies AG. His research included designing and manufacturing of an activation machine for electro-optical modulators and the subsequent characterization of the activation process.

After successfully finishing his Master, he joined the Science of Quantum and Information Technology group at IBM Research Zurich as PhD Student. The research focuses on the creation of a Chemical Computer based on the non-linear oscillatory BZ-Reaction.
