Periodic poling of KTiOPO₄using an applied electric field

The authors have produced periodic poling in c-cut KTiOPO4by applying an electric field to a sample having a periodic electrode on the c face and a uniform electrode on the +c face. The periodic domain reversal occurred through the 1mm thickness of the sample, and was confirmed by second-harmonic generation. © 1994, IEE. All rights reserved.
