Polyhedral shapes of cobalt nanocrystals and their effect on ordered nanocrystal assembly

The chemical synthesization of cobalt nanocrystals having polyhedral shapes was discussed. The role of nanocrystals in the fabrication of defect-free magnetic nanocrystals was also presented. The structure, shapes and nanocrystal superlattices were analyzed using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM).
